About Me

Hi, my name is Amanda Baker and I live in the Southern Suburbs of Adelaide. By day I am an Accountant for a small accounting firm at Mitcham called Baker Solutions Group and by night I am a scrapbooker!

I got involved in scrapbooking December 2008 and haven’t looked back! Over the years I have tried many different crafts, enjoyed most of them, but never “loved” doing anything. Then I discovered Scrapbooking! My sister in law and I decided to try some scrapbooking with a Christmas project. We purchased a kit, made the project (which even looked pretty good), had lots of fun and I knew then that I was hooked on Scrapbooking and Cardmaking.

A scrapbooking friend told me about her new business venture so I had a look around her website. I loved what I saw and asked that she send me a copy of the Stampin’ Up! Catalogue.

As I waited patiently (or perhaps it was very impatiently!!) for my catalogue to arrive I had a thought in the back of my mind – what if I could make a business out of this? The more I thought about it, the more I decided that I would enjoy hosting workshops, helping and teaching people about Scrapbooking and Cardmaking – so Flutterby Creations was born!

Once my Stampin’ Up! Catalogue arrived I spent hours pouring over it. Every new page that I looked at was met with  “wow – I love these products!”. I knew then that I was hooked and that I wanted to see where Stampin’ Up! might take me – so I joined up as an Independent Demonstrator.

I now get to spend lots of time creating gifts, cards and invitations from the Stampin’ Up! products – and I have lots of fun in the process! I also get the opportunity to share my knowledge and skills about crafting in my classes and workshops. I only wish there were more hours in the day to “play” with all the new products.

I run fun filled workshop for you and your friends at your home or in the Flutterby Creations Workshop where you will get a hands on experience with Stampin’ Up! products – including a project to take home with you.
